Methods of Teaching
Secondary and Middle School Mathematics
Course Description: 5 credits. This course is
designed to prepare future secondary and middle school mathematics
teachers for the student teaching experience. The course covers
the middle and high school mathematics curriculum and the methods
used to teach this curriculum.
Section: TR 8:30 - 10:30 AM.

Prerequisites: Acceptance into the Teacher Education
Program.

Standards: The Curriculum and Evaluation Standards for Mathematics,
NCTM, 1989.
