In the first part of this lab, you will add a sample of an unknown material (mass ms) to a calorimeter (mass mcal) containing water (mass mw). The specific heats of these are cs, ccal, and cw, respectively. The termperature of the sample is initially Ta and that of the water and calorimeter are Tb. You will measure the final termparature of the combined system, Tf. Please derive an equation to find the specific heat of the sample. Type your equation below.
