A post is driven into the ground and a heavy ball is hung from it in three different ways shown as A, B, and C in the picture above. The ball plumb line is 3 meters from the foot of the post in all three cases. Compare the torques exerted by the weight of the ball on the post (calculated with respect to the base of the post).
