The students in Ms. Klutz's class are busy working-that is, all but Pete and Harry. Ms. Klutz, hears a sound and looks up just in time to see a note being passed from Pete to Harry. She stalks down the aisle and loudly demands the note. The rest of the students stop work and watch as Harry obsequiously hands Ms, Klutz a folded paper. Ms. Klutz threatens, "If this note is so important, maybe I should read it to the entire class!" Pete smirks and says, "Go ahead." When Ms. Klutz looks at the paper, she is horrified to find an obscene remark directed at her. It is clear that Ms. Klutz has already firmly entrapped herself. Describe the best alternatives at this point. If Ms. Klutz had it to do over, what approaches could she have used from the instant she spotted the note?
