Schedule
Everyday Habits
Attend all lecture and recitation periods. (Arrive on time and stay for the entire period.)
Take good notes during lecture and use your notes as a basis for studying. Keep in mind that the most important concepts and types of problems will be highlighted in lecture.
Review your notes and add clarifying details after each lecture and prior to your next class meeting. Work through assigned homework. Next, use your textbook to solidify your understanding of the current concepts.
“Doing homework” means working out written solutions to all assigned problems.
Take advantage of quiz hints that are given in lecture. Prepare for quizzes using these hints. Utilize old exams that are made available on ONCOURSE when studying for exams.
Seek help frequently when you have questions. Don’t wait until you are behind to get help.
