WarmUp Exercise #15, 10/30  (Assignment Due 11/1)

We found out by taking the divergence of r-hat/r2 (in spherical coordinates) and comparing the integral done two different ways that 4 pi equals zero....

  1. Where do you think the problem lies with r-hat/r2?  Is there in particular point that you may be able to identify?
  2. Why might there then be a difference in the results of the integrals?
