- For a pendulum of mass, m, and length, L, what is the moment of
inertia about the pivot point?
- What is the torque the pendulum bob experiences as measured from
the pivot point? (HINT: What is torque in terms of r and F?)
- Describe (in words) the differential equation that results for
theta (recall how theta and alpha are related).
