  1. For a pendulum of mass, m, and length, L, what is the moment of inertia about the pivot point?
  2. What is the torque the pendulum bob experiences as measured from the pivot point?  (HINT: What is torque in terms of r and F?)
  3. Describe (in words) the differential equation that results for theta (recall how theta and alpha are related).
