Study Skills group: alpha = 0.737 (13 questions) "It is important to read assigned material before it is discussed in class." Results For fall 2001, 281 paired responses from approximately 600 students Statistically significant changes in Confidence, Value, Expectations, Study skills. All changes were negative. All changes were extremely small: largest was -6.5% Pretest/pretest across semesters shows even less change. Students receiving D's and F's show fewer changes.
